Magic Nights: Constellation
Group Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy for Women
Steamboat Springs, CO
July 6 - 7 or July 7 - 8
Our July experience, Magic Nights: Constellation, was created by two longtime friends who share a belief that some of life’s most important transitions are meant to be witnessed, not navigated alone.
There are moments in life when we find ourselves looking up.
Toward the horizon. Toward the mountains. Toward the night sky. Toward the next chapter.
Constellation was created for women standing in one of those moments.
This July, women will gather on private land near Steamboat Springs, Colorado, for an overnight guided psychedelic experience beneath the open sky.
Some will arrive in a season of transition. Others may feel drawn by curiosity, reflection, creativity, healing, or a desire to reconnect with themselves in a deeper way. Whatever brings them there, each woman arrives carrying a lifetime of experiences, questions, relationships, and stories.
For one night, those stories come together beneath a shared sky.
Why Constellation?
For generations, people have looked to constellations for orientation. A constellation is not a single star. It is a pattern that only becomes visible when we step back far enough to see how individual points connect to something larger.
Experiences that once felt unrelated begin to reveal meaning. Challenges take on new context. Questions become clearer. We recognize themes, patterns, and possibilities that were harder to see from ground level.
Magic Nights: Constellation is an invitation to pause long enough to notice the shape of the story you are living, and to consider what may be emerging next.
A Different Kind of Setting
The gathering takes place on private land within an hour of Steamboat Springs, surrounded by mountains, open sky, and the rhythms of the natural world. Participants create their own outdoor nest, spend the evening in ceremony, gather around a bonfire, and wake to coffee, conversation, and breakfast beneath the Colorado sky.
The changing light, the vastness of the landscape, and the night sky overhead all offer perspective, reminding us that growth is rarely linear and that we are part of something larger than our immediate concerns.
There is also something special about sleeping beneath the same sky that inspired this gathering in the first place. The stars overhead are not simply part of the scenery. They become part of the conversation.
Preparation Begins Before Arrival
Although the gathering itself takes place over a single night, Constellation begins earlier.
Each participant is invited into a preparation process that includes a private conversation with Tisha or Alisa and a guided reflection questionnaire exploring the questions, patterns, and possibilities shaping her current season of life.
As women begin sharing their reflections, common themes begin to emerge. Different stories and life stages, yet often similar questions about belonging, change, and what comes next.
By the time participants arrive on the land, the experience is already underway. The circle begins forming long before anyone gathers beneath the stars.
For many women, there is something meaningful about doing this work close to home, surrounded by the mountains, skies, and communities that already shape their daily lives. Rather than stepping away from life entirely, Constellation invites participants to engage with it more intentionally, supported by both personal reflection and shared experience.
Community as Medicine
During our time as students at SoundMind Institute, one of our instructors offered an observation that has stayed with us:
Some healing is meant to happen alone. Some is nurtured in the care of another. And some becomes possible only in community.
Constellation was created with that third possibility in mind. There are journeys we must take for ourselves. But there are also wounds that often begin to heal when we discover we are not carrying them alone.
This gathering is intentionally communal. Participants journey individually, but within a carefully held circle of women. The experience creates space not only for personal insight, but also for connection, belonging, and the experience of being witnessed by others navigating their own questions and transitions.
Held by Friends, Guided by Experience
The women behind Constellation first met thirty years ago.
Since then, Tisha Leslie and Alisa Tongg have remained part of one another's lives through marriages, parenting, career shifts, losses, new beginnings, and many of the questions that arrive when life asks us to become someone new.
That friendship informs the spirit of this gathering.
Over three decades, they have witnessed one another's growth, celebrated milestones, weathered challenges, and experienced firsthand the ways that community, reflection, and meaningful relationships shape our lives.
Though their careers have taken different paths, both have spent their professional lives helping people navigate change.
Tisha's work has centered on helping individuals, teams, and organizations better understand who they are, what they value, and how they want to show up in the world. Alisa's work as an award-winning Life-Cycle Celebrant, storyteller, and founder has focused on helping people make meaning of life's threshold moments through narrative, ritual, and community.
In recent years, both expanded that work through psychedelic facilitation training, drawn by a shared belief that meaningful transformation often begins when people are given the space, support, and permission to engage honestly with their own lives.
The gathering is also supported by Sophie Dowlatshahi of Riverside Café, whose nourishing snacks and breakfast help create the atmosphere of hospitality, comfort, and care that carries through the entire experience.
This summer, women will gather beneath the stars. Each will arrive with her own story. Together, they will form a constellation.
